1. Who we are

Qeyda is a cloud accounting platform for Egyptian businesses, built in Cairo and currently in pre-launch. For questions about this policy or your data, contact [email protected].

2. What we collect

While Qeyda is in pre-launch, the data we collect is intentionally minimal.

• Waitlist sign-up: the email address you submit. Optionally, if you choose to share them on the thank-you step, your industry and company size. We send a confirmation email to verify your address before you are subscribed to updates.
• Server logs: IP address, browser user agent, timestamp, and the page you requested. Retained for security and debugging.

When the Qeyda product becomes available, this policy will be updated to describe the additional data the product processes (bank-feed transactions, receipts, accounting records, etc.) and the contractual basis under which it is processed.

3. Why we collect it

• To verify your email address and send you product updates while we build.
• To prevent abuse of the waitlist form and keep the site available.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to operate the website and waitlist:

• Email delivery · stores waitlist contacts and sends confirmation and update emails.
• Hosting · runs the website.
• Content delivery and abuse protection · serves the site and filters malicious traffic.

Some providers process data outside Egypt; by joining the waitlist you consent to this. The only personal data involved before launch is your email address and the business details you choose to share, always encrypted in transit. We choose providers with strong security practices and data-processing terms, and a current list of providers is available on request at [email protected].

If we add provider categories (for example, product analytics or error monitoring), we will update this policy before they process your data.

5. Cookies

The website itself does not set cookies. Our CDN may set a strictly necessary cookie for abuse protection. We use no analytics or advertising cookies.

6. Your rights

Under the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (Law 151 of 2020) and applicable equivalents, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate data corrected.
• Have your data deleted.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 6 working days.

7. Retention

We retain waitlist email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.

8. Security

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Data at rest is encrypted at our service providers. Access to production systems is restricted to a small set of authorised personnel.

9. Children

Qeyda is not directed at individuals under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Qeyda evolves toward launch. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist subscribers by email and noted on this page.
